The hydrophobic nature of silicone makes protein adhesion difficult, reducing the opportunity for bacterial growth on the tube. The Fome-Cuf system allows direct cuff volume measurement, the indicator of tracheal wall changes. The Cuff Maintenance Device (CMD), a 60mL syringe with attached 3-way stopcock, directly measures cuff volume and simplifies routine cuff maintenance. - The auto-expanding foam fills and conforms to the unique contours of the patient's trachea

- Packaged individually sterile with obturator, side port AutoControl airway connector, CMD, twill trach tie, and 15mm disconnect wedge
