Mercy Ship is bringing Hope and Healing to people around the
world who live in fear and desperation, with impure water, inadequate food,
and little or no access to health care. Utilizing Hospital Ships, Mercy
Ships delivers medical excellence with integrity and compassion by mobilizing
people and resources worldwide.
Operation Smile provides safe, effective reconstructive surgery
for children born with facial deformities. They have a presence in over
50 countries, providing free surgeries and medical care missions. This is
all made possible by thousands of volunteers and donors throughout the world
who generously contribute time, talent and resources. Healing thousands
of children per year, and today more than 145,000 girls and boys have been
helped.
The Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research also
known as FAER is advancing medicine through education and research in Anesthesiology.
They provide guidance and resources to physician investigators and medical
educators who are focusing on anesthesiology related issues in the sciences
of clinical practice and disease biology. They are impacting the future
of anesthesiology.
